How do you change the brake bias?

Wondering. Might want to try.

How do you change the Prelude's (5th gen) brake bias? What hardware is needed and once installed, any good tips on adjusting it?

There's a few ways, by far the easiest and cheapest will be buying different pads front and rear. More bite in front and less in the rear will cause less braking oversteer and more predictability under hard braking. The other way is to install a proportioning valve into your braking system where you manually need to open or close the valve to change the brake bias.

Yes, biasing changes how much of the total work of braking is done by the front and rear brakes. Pulling the e-brake is like 100% rear bias.

Would pad and rotor wear rates be good indications of brake bias?

I beginning to wonder if Honda puts in so much front bias in the Prelude so that spins are less likely when braking in curves, off-ramps, etc.

I'm thinking of moving up to HP+.

How do those propostioning valves work? Do you just install them in the lines for the front brakes and adjust the valve to reduce front brake line pressure? I'm looking a pictures of them and they only have two places to connect the brake lines.
