Hi I was wondering if it was ok to use Honda Manual Transmission fluid on my 1989 honda prelude 2.0 Si. I used 5w-30 motor oil before but i just recently switched to this.

Yes, you can use Honda MTF. In fact, I would recommend it over using motor oil. The manual says you can use motor oil, but that was before they offered a manual trans fluid of their own. I use synthetic transmission fluid (Redline MT-90).

can you please tell me the amount of transmission fluid for the 3rd gen Prelude?
Or is it the procedure where you fill it up till it rinses out on the higher located bolt?
