Ok, so I was replacing distributor cap and rotor. When trying to remove old rotor, the single screw that holds it in, the dang screw head stripped out. So I borrowed a tap kit and attempted to drill it out. I pre-drilled a hole in the middle of the screw and then started working the tap bit in. As soon as I started to reverse it and pull it out, the tap bit broke off. Just the end broke off. The tap bit is harder than any bit I have, so I cant drill through it... Im almost resigned to leave the damn thing in there and just not change the rotor. No problems with the ignition. Any ideas on how to get the screw out?

Peter, they are talking about the Distributor Cap and Rotor. Not brake rotors.

If I were to use the dremel and cut away the plastic rotor pieces, what do you do when you reach the metal core that the screw screws into? how do you get that part out? I dont wana go in and start cutting it up and not be able to get the whole thing out...
