also, i recently changed the slave cylinder and when i look at it while getting ready to start on the clutch job, the boot was all crunched up? do i need to replace it? the slave cylinder moves around little bit if i force it with my hand because the cheap slave cylinder i bought, the holes were little bit off so i kinda stripped the hole when forcing the bolts in so it doesn't hold in tight even after getting a new slave cylinder. (probably gonna try to use the thread repair thing when the tranny is out). thanks

when i changed my clutch.......looking at the helms you are supposed to change
1. radius rod nuts and bolts (i did but they were rusted too so it was nice to put in new bolts)
2. most of all the cotter pins (i also changed the castle nuts..again rusted)
3. throwout bearing (unless you were going to anyways.....)

but thats all from memory......when i went to honda to buy all the nuts/bolts came out to be around 40-50 bux......i went by the helms on what to replace just because i wanted to make sure everything was correct.......as for anything big i.e seals etc there wasn't anything in particular you had to change

If the slave cylinder bolt holes are stripped, it needs to come off again anyways to fix that. Definitely replace the boot on the slave or the clutch housing if damaged. You don't want dirt/moisture getting into either location.

No seals, provided you don't damage any on the way out. For the axle seals, regrease them before reinstallation (put a bead of grease in the U channel of the seal).
