Can u use an H23 exhaust manifold on an F22?

Here's the story. Ive currently got an F22 motor with 125k that runs real strong.

I have an H23 that im going to build up.

Late next week, i'll have a Drag II turbo kit (minus a few pieces).

My question is, just for fun im wanting to run about 4-5psi on my F22 until i can afford to have the H23 fully built for big boost (6-9 months) . I'll have an H23 exhaust manifold in a few days.

Does anybody know if these are interchangeable? I looked up the parts on hondaautomotiveparts.com and they ARE DIFFERENT PART #'s, and they look a bit different, but i know that they use the same gasket, which means at least 1 end is exactly the same.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

I think that there is a sensor (O2 i think) on the upper half of the f22 header

I hope your resleeving your h23 before you turbo, and are using some aluminum forged low compression pistons

resleeving, rods, pistons, blah blah, everything. I might even make it a 2.5 liter if thats possible and doesnt cause any problems.

Sensor....yep, i think you're right. Could i mount the O2 sensor in the downpipe or something?

well, h23's have that sensor (prolly a different part # also) before the catalyic converter so maybe you can use your custom upper half (it looks like it'll mount) and use a h23 down pipe thingamajig.

but i dunno I'm talking out of my ass.

now would an h23 turbo manifold fit on an f22? im kinda doing the same thing

I'm almost positive that it won't fit. I think the H22, H23, and F22 are all different. I know the two former are anyways. Don't quote me though!

the bolt pattern on the some F22's is the same as the H23...but i'm not sure about the prelude H23...

when you get your manifold just compare the bolt patterns....

go get a F22 exhaust manifold gasket from pepboys for $10 and put it on the turbo manifold...see how it looks

Or you could just call and ask for part numbers instead of buying them.

nevermind, i just checked my 4th gen parts book

the gasket for the exhaust manifold is the same part # which means the manifold will bolt up just fine.
