typeshlude - lennlen - 98blacksh - bbsflier thank you all for your input, yesterday i was sitting in class thinking then it popped into my head, i just recently did alot of work to the rear of my motor so I had to take out my lower im, the IAB was underneath of it and was a pain to get out.... even bigger pain to put back in so i researched if any of u are interested in my findings here is a link

http://www.preludeonline.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=145539&highlight=iab

came to find out I don't need it so I removed it... well it had a plug going to it and i guess this was it... lennlen you were actually very helpful with ur pics thank u greatly, i noticed that in ur picture that the tps wire was different then mine, so to make sure i had it in the right place i went outside and took a look at the car and sure enough i had the egr valve plug in the tps and the tps in the egr so i switched them around and everything is just fine now....

my concern now is i may possibly have done the same with the t stat. the t stat plug and the iab plug both are the same and plug into th t stat. they are different colors, slightly. does anyone which one it is that goes into the t stat ? thanks again everyone

It sounds stupid until you run into a problem like this. Always label your wires and nuts when you remove them. Put a little tag with a number on everything that you remove and where it goes. It will save you lots of headaches later.
