I just bought a 98' prelude w/ sport shift. I want to mod it but dont know if supercharger or turbo is best for my car. Plus when racing in sport shift mode, when is it best to change gear w/out losing vtec. (Getting to the best speed out of my car). O yea, is there anyway i can start at 4000rpm, for a good start.

1) to my knowledge, the auto doesn't take FI mods very well, although someone on here does have a turbo sportshift.

2) the JRSC doesn't really exist!

3) racing? in a sportshift? you gotta be kidding!

4) seriously, run right up to the redline whenever you can.

5) you can't launch a sportshift from 4000 rpm without some kind of limiter kicking in. The best you can do is about 2100. You'll kill your transmission. Not to mention your brakes.

Enjoy the GOOD LOOKS of your car. You have a nice passing gear, and if you wanna race somebody from 60mph, you won't be embarassed too badly. Stick with I/H/E, pulleys, basic bolt-ons. JUST SAY NO to nitrous.
