would u buy prelude 97 Type S JSPEC head lights.. its the smoked like the CTR head lights . These head lights are used with very little scratches, straight from japan. for 400 dollars?

Fraud? I don't think the TypeS came with smoked headlights.

they are from the real Prelude TYpe S. I dont have any pix. but u can go look for pix of japanses prelude type S. and my buddy might have another set for sale if any one is intereseted.. 400 in good condition.

yeah but isnt there a type s and a type S Jspec? isnt there like a SIR too? I thought I saw that brochure from Japan that had those different japanese models..

never remembering seeing smoked headlights...

If I recall correctly the headlights are not smoked, the housing is black. Kind of like the black 4th gen 1 pc headlights.

the newer preludes have dark reflectors for some reason. go to the dealer and check it out. especialy on pearl white and satin silver.

I never saw the real thing, I only saw a picture of some guy's headlights who had taken them apart and smoked them so they looked like the real ones. I can't remember who's car it was though.

I was looking at my JDM brochure and the Type S lights do not looked smoked at all. Yes, that inner reflector piece looks a little darker like on the new preludes here in the US, but it's not blacked out.

You can take yours apart and black it out yourself, which I did. But I'm kind of pissed at myself now, because I guess I didn't reseal one light too good, and I'm getting moisture condensation inside it now

This is one of the UK guys' JDM Preludes. Forgive me, I don't remember which one... It was imported to the UK as a used car from Japan, so it is a "real" JDM Type-S model.

The headlamps do not look smoked or even darker to me...

All of the brochures I have with the TypeS in them don't show different headlights for the TypeS.

Give us a picture or give us some proof, until then, I think you're full of it.

Wow, just noticed for the first time the TypeS has no sunroof (slams hand on head).

if u see it in real life.. the head lights are smoked exactly like the CTR ones. I swear the pix does not do justice.
