On daughters prelude the windshield washer has stopped working an the wiper control is not working quite right, loose and not feeling right. Any ever replace the wiper control arm? What's involved, how much of the steering needs to be disassembled.
It's been a while since I've done it, so my info may not be 100% correct.
You'll need to remove the steering wheel assembly and disconnect any associated wiring. Next, you'll find a round ring with a notch on it. This is what causes the turn signals to 'reset' once you complete your turn. Unhook and remove it, but be 100% sure of its orientation, because it'll cause your signals to work improperly if it isn't put back the right way. After you remove that, all that's left are the stalks. They're screwed onto the column. Remove them and replace.
