I'm trying to get a set (or even a single driver's side) of those black "scratch gaurds" for lack of better word. I'm talking about those black plastic protectors for when you get in and out of your car. They just clip in and hold the carpet and extend to the outside. If no one knows what I'm talking about I'll take a pic and post it up later.

I just wanted to know if anyone knows a cheaper price that what Hparts and Manchester want for these things new. They're asking $175 + S&H for these.

I'm sure you can get a roll of those at your local auto shop like Auto Zone, Pep Boys, etc...

You can try your local wrecking yard to see if they have a set. You can go to www.copartfinder.com to check any local junkyards. Or you can get aftermarket ones. I think that MOMO makes a set and one other manufacturer but can't remember the name right now.

I believe they are called sill plates. Go to a wrecking yard.
