say your car's interior hasn't been cleaned in like 3 or 4 months. what order would you do everything in (vacuum, windows, dust, shine...), and what would you use to do it? i know what products people use have been in previous threads, but im more curious about which order you do it it.

I have always vacuumed first, but sometimes your shoes might get a little dirt or something behind, or what usually happens to me is a piece of fuzz will fall off the cloth I use to apply vinyl protectant to the dash. (plus if its windy, the friggin pine needles off the trees in the yard always blow into my car when I'm cleaning it out). So I think it might be better to vacuum last. Here are my steps if you want to vacuum last:

1. Windows
2. Dust dash with swiffer wipes
3. Vinyl protectant on dash
4. Q-tip vents, etc if you're feeling anal
5. Pull out floormats and scrub them clean if needed.
6. Vacuum rear of car.
7. Vacuum rear floor mats
8. Slide seats back and vacuum front.
9. Wipe down the vinyl area on the drivers side floor.
10. Vacuum front floormats and put them back in.
11. Vacuum out the trunk.
12. Clean door jambs and trunk/under hood if needed.
13. Slip another strawberry scented tree under the seat.
