Yeah get one, and while your at it, cut an inch or so off your shifter. Feels really better than a stock long throw.

do NOT get the DC.

i have the DC. it stinks. really notchy, stiff, and you can't cut off enough of the boot frame to keep it from rubbing in 5th and reverse.

i drove another lude with the neuspeed yesterday, however, and it felt great. i'm rippin' the DC off ASAP.

Yeah it also breaks your shift cable in two, and leaves you stranded in dallas, 250 miles from home!!!!

Everything seems so clear now! Good explination!
Thnks.. would u guys recomend one? Would u say that there is any point in getting one if u weren't going to race? I just thought that it might have just made shifting easier and smother...but if it is for faster shifting I really don'tsee the point in getting one. Comments or opinions?

I actually heard short shifters mess with your gear synchros. It DOES reduce throw by maybe half an inch. If you've ever went through gears in the S2000, you'll see that you can almost shift with a flick of the wrist. I personally don't think it's worth it, especially after hearing that it could mess with the gear synchros. Then again, I have an SS, so none of this would apply to me...

I always hear that about the DC, but I didn't have any problems, it didn't hit and I never had a problem with shifting.

the only thing I would have done if I kept it was to weld the rear to the shifter so it wouldn't have that 2mm gap that always clicked.
