Hey I'm new to PreludeOnline and just recently purchased my car. Every since I've had the car its had a fluctuating idle that usually goes from 1200-1800rpm until the car is warmed up, than it usually goes away. Starting today my car started the weird idle while I am shifting gears in between 500-2000 rpm. I recently replaced my thermostat because I did some research and found that that may be the problem but no success. Do you think that it could be my throttle position sensor?

Did you try to search first, as there is a lot on here about fluctuating idle problems.

try cleaning the iac valve. idle air control valve. also take it apart the tighten the bulb down on the fast idle thermo valve. it starts to unscrew it self after time. it's right under the throttle body. either that or you can go and buy a new one.

bet you $5 its the fast idle thermo. it normally is.
