Hello,
I thought this was pretty interesting. It's basically what all the parts of your VIN number mean.

Here is a sample VIN Number:

JHMBB21500C199999

JHM - The Make - Honda Motor Co. Japan
BB2 - Model Code (BB1, BB2, BB3)
1 - Transmission (1=MTM, 2=ATM)
5 - Engine:
4 = 2.0 PGMFI 16v OHC (F20A4)
5 = 2.3 PGMFI 16v DOHC (H23A2)
7 = 2.2 PGMFI 16v DOHC (H22A2)
8 = 2.2 PGMFI VTEC 16v DOHC (H22A2)

00 - Fixed Code (mine is PC instead of 00)

C - Factory (Saitama, Japan)

1 - Year Manufactured
BB1 Model
0 = 1993
1 = 1994
2 = 1995
3 = 1996
BB2/3 Models
0 = 1992
1 = 1993
2 = 1994
3 = 1995
4 = 1996
