Upgrade to a leather interior?

Not to attack, but are the seats supportive enough with leather? I feel like I'm moving from side to side plenty with the stock fabric, I figure leather would let you slide even easier. Makes me think they did the 5th gen. seats with slightly "larger" Americans in mind.

To me yes.....but I don't drive like a maniac.....on April 22nd I might think that the leather doesn't hold as well.....actually I'm SURE the cloth holds you better.......but I don't give 2 sh*ts.

I've got leather and you slide a little more than with the cloth, but it smells sooo nice.

I have Leather. You slip a lil more cuz of the material. Bought the kit for 500..install cost 200. I love mah leather...before it was like, "nice car y didn't u get leather?!" Now...it's perfect.

i have leather i bought this kit off ebay. its all black real leather. it used to be 399 wheni bought it it went up to five and now its up to 600. well yeah i went to some shop and they fustom stiched lil red "H" in the headrest so all together the install cost me 250

Scriber, is yours single color or two-tone. If two-tone, did it come with matching door inserts? Did you order the kit or just buy it at your local shop?

yeah, that kit is on ebay right now. I would like to get the two-tone kit. Wonder why the price went up?

I got leather when I bought the car. It ran me $1000. I would not trade it for cloth. It a nice finishing touch.

well, I've been thinking of those also. I was considering getting two blue Recaro SRD seats. My car is pearl white and I sort of have a blue color theme in the engine with my valve cover and pulleys, but nothing in my interior is blue, well except for indiglo blue gauges. I am getting blue JDM side mirrors and I thought the blue Recaros SRD's would look good in my car. THe more I think of it, I don't race my car but I'm into showing, and I would like to keep it more subtle and luxury looking and go with black leather with white inserts. What do you guys think?

Bought mine from egclassic.com
2 colors I chose black/gray and installed it myself, turned out perfect. A bit of a pain in the ass, but worth it. A bit more slippage but I don't get too wild. Really adds to the image of the car, can't believe Honda dropped it for the Prelude.

I paid around $1K from the dealership. That's probably too high, but it's worth it, and I don't know how to do it myself. I'd screw it up.

If you can find the two-tone black/grey leather kit, I'd recommend it. I think it looks better than just plain black. One of the two-tone kits I saw had the Honda logo embroidered on each seat. Unfortunately, I got stuck with plain black.

I dunno bout you, but recaros say much more than custom leather whether you're showing your car OR racing it...i love those seats!!
Are you doing to do a full interior job? (i.e. dash, doors, console, etc)? I still say get the SRD's...
