I just got back from London and Paris and I have sad news. I didn't see I single bloody frickin' 5th gen lude. I was mighty upset too. I did see alot of my favorite car though....MINI COOPERs everywhere. 'Bout blew a nut everytime I saw a nice, clean one. I did see a couple other generation ludes but no 5's. Not too many moddedd cars at all actually. Very dissappointed.

By the way, don't you foreigners take pride in your cars and keep them clean? I've never seen soooo much brake dust in all my life.

I cant remember wheather it was the one day that i spent in Paris or the one day that I spent in London, but i clearly remember seeing a green 5th Gen Prelude.

Yup! Welcome to Europe, the 'no selling' home of the 5th Gen!
Makes it a cool car though, and it has a very stylish image!
that is why it is so shcoking to see what some of you guys to to them!
I love mine as it is so rare, and things like Altezzas and and bodykits on them are really original here!
I think it is a great car to mod in Europe, and you can at least get all the parts from the States!

You've never seen Central and Eastern Europe then... jacked cars from around the world, everything is as dirty as hell (think your car gets dirty after rain in North America? Wait until you see rain in Cracow...) Nasty.

1)keeping my car clean takes too much time
2)I'm lazy
3)European people do not care so much for their cars

I was in Ireland a few weeks ago visiting my girlfriend and I saw at least 4 or 5, 5th Gens and a bunch of 4th Gens. Reason being the car is expensive as $hit there. I think the newspaper said a new 5th Gen Lude, top of the line, was like 32,000 IEP (multiply by 1.2 for approximate conversion).

i was going to let yall know that i was comin over the big pond, but i knew i was going to be to be busy to look other at passing cars. a guy told me there was a mclaren in the one showroom up the street from Westminster Abbey but I didnt ewven get to see that either. oh well.

I spent a week in Paris last year and I saw only one 5th Gen (nordic mist). I even took a couple of pictures of it.

The driver is looking straight at me and he was probably wondering what this crazy tourist is doing taking a picture of him!

wait a second, did I read that right? You flew around the world and were a stones throw away from the greatest road car ever created (the mclaren F1) and didn't stop to look?!? I would have made a beeline for that showroom and probably would have spent all day drooling over it! Oh well, I guess I'm just a car nut.

i would have liked to see the Mclaren but the girlfriend (now fiancee after Paris) and the others we were with were on a mission to see every tourist site in London. Plus I saw one in person in '99 at the Detroit Auto Show. No big deal. I also saw a Type R in Paris around Nation. That was the only Integra in site. I was still more impressed with all the Minis. If someone can get me one over here let me know. The newer the better.

It's a shame you didn't see the McLaren, as they really are rare!
It is along by Hyde Park I think, next to a BMW showroom!
I have yet to see a Mac on the road, though I saw one in Silverstone's car park on a Coy's Auction show!
