asking all the turbo lude owner out there. every 3750 mile on ur car, u would change your car oil right? and what else do you have to do to get your car out of leak free. I heard that you have to change the head gasket everytime you get oil change to make the car run good. Well basically what do you do beside changing oil and what else?

BTW: what is the price i'm expecting in doing it, labor parts? B/C if it is too much i properly go to charger instead. If turbo cost too much to maintance

i think you're mistaken. a head gasket replacement would run you a cool few hundred dollars.

change the oil out at least near 2000-2500 for a turbo honda.
you only change your head gasket if it blows up

and i change my oil every 1000-1500 miles, just because...it's cheaper than a new engine. make sure if you change the filter too, you crank the engine a few times to let the oil get into the turbo too.

Hey whats up, I change my oil every 2000-2500 miles with synthetic oil and oil filter. Where in Dallas are you located? Im off of plano pkwy/tollway with a turbo accord. I change my plugs every 10000 miles or when I see that I have time or discoloration on the plug. Ive probably ran my turbo setup for about 22000+ miles. I believe I changed them about 3-4 times now. I used BCPR7Es. Its what Jotech uses in all their turbo setups and what comes with the JRSC kits now. Hope this information helps. Let me know if you wanna meet up sometime....
so basically if i'm getting turbo all i need is change the oil that it and sparkplug every 10k. more than tat oil @ 2.5k and i'm set. Cuz peep been telling me if i ran turbo it would cost a lot to maintance it. it will be on my 5th lude 2001. so wat other maintance i'm not aware of that any of u can tell me r inform me. thx in advance.

BTW: love that blow off valves
Maintenance can also mean an unexpected motor change. Unless you are going with a fully built block, its really impossible to tell anybody how long the motor can last. MOre frequent tune-ups would also including rebuilding your turbo.

For optimum performance, it would need tuning more often than usual.
