i've noticed some prelude owners do not use tire shine to give it a glossy look. does anyone use this? or am i the only one. as of now i'm using meguires tire shine, looks good if applied lightly where it doesn't come off and splashes off onto the body of the car. oh btw, does this affect the tire?

Yes it does affect the tire. Overtime with use of the silicone to make the tire shine, it increases the chances of your tire cracking prematurely on the sidewalls.
