If you could run any suspension what would it be? Up until now I have been pretty sure that I'd run Koni yellows with GC coilovers. I have been eyeing the Progress Competition coilovers though. I already have my yellows. What would you guys do?
Thanks

If I could do any suspension setup, it would be:

Moton or JRZ dampers ($5k+)
Custom upper damper mounts ($500)
Eibach ERS springs ($450)
Custom adjustable sway bars ($700+)
Custom adjustable end links ($400)
Custom camber kits with rod ends ($500+)
Spherical bearings throughout ($1k+)

Something more reasonable would be:

Advance Design Dampers ($1600)
Eibach ERS springs ($450)
Custom upper damper mounts ($500)
Custom adjustable end links ($400)
Custom camber kits with rod ends ($500+)
Neuspeed rear sway bar ($250)
Stock front sway bar ($0)
Spherical bearings throughout ($1k)

Keep in mind these are track ONLY setups.

For the street:

Custom Konis ($900)
GCs with Eibach ERS springs ($350)
Neuspeed front and rear sway bars ($450)
Stock end links
no camber kit
stock bushings
stock upper damper mounts

Thanks Billy. How did I know that you'd go bonkers on me? Is your motor ready yet? I have to get in touch with Larry soon.

Well right now I have the Koni yellow/GC set up. It's nice but I think I might go for full coil-over next winter while the car is put away. I was thinking N1's with upper mounts and a Nuespeed swaybar. I am with Billy though a full custome push-rod suspension would be awesome! I personally like the set-up in the HKS Altezza in the April issue of Super Street.

I was under the impression that Larry is not taking Honda work at this time. Anyway, he isn't done yet, and we changed things a bit, so it might take just a little bit longer, but it should be done soon. We're doing some interesting stuff, so it will be very interesting to see how things come out.

This would be a Street/Track setup. More street time than track but willing to sacrafice street comfort for track performance.
Billy, I emailed Larry a few weeks ago and he told me to get back to him in a few weeks. I told him that I was looking to do something more towards the fall.

Street track:

Konis with GCs with 450 lb/in springs front and back. Later, have the Konis revalved for a more aggressive damping curve.

How do you feel about strut tower bars? And for sway bars, are Neuspeeds better/worse/about the same as Suspension Techniques?

I think strut tower bars are worth it. I forgot to add those in. I use a Spoon bar up front, and the roll bar has an integral rear strut tower bar.

I like the Spoon and Cusco strut bars. The Neuspeed strut bar is very well made as well.

I like the Neuspeed sway bars because my rear bar is 28mm vs. 25mm for the ST. Now that they are both ST, I still like the Neuspeed rear bar because it includes new mounting brackets which are quite beefy. I don't know about the Neuspeed front bar, as I don't own one. I do have a comparison between the Neuspeed and ST rear bars on www.ntpog.org. Yes, I did own a full set of ST bars, and now I use a stock front and Neuspeed rear.

They have shortened bodies, shortened shafts, and they have been revalved (compression and rebound) to race specs (i.e. a HELL of a lot stiffer than stock!).

Ground Control & Koni Yellow is the perfect combination for me!! All the adjustability is easy and the ride is 110% better. The same turns i take hard to work are unbelievably easier for my Prelude to take. And trust me, these curves are tight with slight bumps....haha. I can feel every bump on the road tho =)

I recommend this setup for street and race applications, and koni can redo u're performance needs if needing serious, serious power...u can't beat the lifetime warranty either...peace fellas.

You'd take the Neuspeed sway bars over the ST ones?

Ground Controls use Eibach ERS springs, which are availabe in hundreds (literally) of spring rates.
