did a search no luky.....basically wanna clean my teins what is the best way to do this? wd40 is fine but still have lotsa guk that needs to be removed, is there any other stronger solvents I can use to totally remove all the guk off the threads? Like I said I tried wd40 and it works but not to easy, I have to get a shishkabob stick and pry all the guk out, need something to loosen up the grit better.....thanx guys

Try that website Fuego just posted. Great insight.

What I usually do is just use a lot of wd-40 to clean it out. I figure.. at $2.00 a can.. it's just whatever. I basically spray the coilovers til it starts dripping... then wipe it. Do it until i get it clean.

No rust here yet.

oh and if you want them to last do this at least 2 times a year, or if youre like me everytime you rotate your tires
