Hi was just wondering how much the Strut bars made by Spoon are going for? Its for a 5th gen by the way. I was considering the Mugen but found out they don't make one for our cars.
Do you guys think there is any diff on what type of brand you get. THe spoon looks very tough compared to lets say DC Sports.
Thanks

i heard that most strut bars are pretty much the time when it comes down to performance. and you know, the 5gen chasis is pretty stiff already so it doesn't really matter which brand you choose. i think a lot of us picked the spoon ones because no one else offers the rear bar...

if you want a set, you can contact James Chan / 98Luder at [email protected].

I got my set for about cad$500 a pair including tax and install. They are the BEST strut bars available (besides custom-made) for our cars. They firmed up the body and improved the steering response; even noticeable after getting used to my stiff-ass TEINs for a while.

I must clarify: They are the strongest and best looking. As far as comparison's sake with DC et al., I don't know. Never had experience with them.

A friend of mine had connections to a shop and so got a discount for me. He also did the installation. I forgot what shop it was from though. I'm not sure if he's still dealing with them.

The price was from 2 summers ago, so it's probably higher now. Also, Lude2k, our CDN$ was slightly stronger at the time, so the USD conversion wasn't as bad!

I know they've got them for the back, but I haven't seen one for the front yet, I don't even know if they make one for the front...
