They are TE37s. I have met Grant and Sam. I don't know what size they are running this year, but they were running 225/50/15s last year on 15 inch TE37s.

i know that they were running the 225/50-15 last year however from the pic posted it seem as if they are running the samething this year. if you notice the car has the new toyo tires logo on there and not the bf goodrich from last year

That's because the series switched to Toyo street tires.

I actually really surprised at how fast they look for a street tire. Anybody notice what the difference in lap times is?

Funny they are still using 15 in. with the Toyos, if that's what it is. The Real Time ITRs look like they are using a bigger wheel and I assumed that was to make up for the Toyo's squishiness compared to the R compounds they all used last year. Maybe the Prelude will do well this year, I keep wondering if it's the car or the driver, they keep adding weight to the ITRs and restricting the Bimmers intake, why can't the Prelude catch up with all that?

I think the webpage is www.lockraceworks.com

He had a lot of reliability problems last year (some due to the H23 block/H22 head combo, in my opinion). He also had brake issues.

I won't say why he isn't out running the rest of the pack, as I don't know the entire story. I do know they had major mechanical problems last year, though.

A short list of mods are (from what I remember). He has changed some of this stuff as well. It's a base model Prelude.

Moton suspension
full spherical bearing conversion
custom rear sway bar
Quaife LSD
H23 block with H22 head
Type S pistons (he bought those from me)
custom cams
4Gen/5Gen H22 tranny
AP racing calipers and rotors
custom roll cage
Momo seat
MoTeC ECU
Focuz intake
racing radiator (I forget the brand)
ACT (?) clutch
CF splitter

serious weight reduction
