Well i really need an alignment and its a biatch to align an SH and my local tire shop say that they dont have the equipment after i told them there was a special protocol or procedure they have to follow.....and i refuse to go to Honda cuz theyre morons(for more on why do a search under my name or N2oSH(old name))

anyways, does anyone know what the special protocol or procedure they have to do to the SH?

can any alignment shop do it?

most reputable ones should be able to do it on an SH..

most likely a place that can do lowered cars can do it on an SH.. i wouldn't know though..

but when i took my car for an alignment they specifically wrote type-SH on the sheet

The general alignment procedure will work. However, you MUST set it up for the ATTS and so forth. Get out your HELM and you will see what it is all about. One other thing-a stock SH can only have the Toe and Caster adjusted.

As to your statement about Honda being "morons" I have yet to have ANY trouble at my dealership. The techs are really great as is the machine. Your experience is not a good one, so I suggest you find a Honda specialist and pay the going rate (~$60) for a real alignment. My local Pep Boys is better than most tire stores as they actually use the exact same brand and model of machine as my dealer.

ummm well there was this place close to me like 5 mintues away and since they wont be able to do it i guess i have to go out of my town...ahhh damn....


well i would still like to know just in case...

ill go to Auto Addictions, they have a nice facility there and have an alignment rack just for lowered cars

u can count on honda dealers to the fact that they'll warranty their work..

as long as u find one of the btter ones.

most of the dealers in my area suck ****... so i haven't taken anything to them for a while now.. but anyway.. basically i'm sayin some dealers will be good in a certain area but suck at every other, just depends on the ppl workin there and what they're good at, or if they're gettin good pay to work harder and **** like that

jc836, the only reason i refuse to go to my dealer is because when i had an oil leak they said it was my aftermarket VTEC solenoid...it was my oil pressure gauge sender unit...after this i asked him where the real VTEC solenoid is and lets just say they didnt know and i had to point it out to them, so if they cant identify a solenoid, then i dont trust them to do my car...

and i really wish i had a HELMS, but i dont:shrug:

and thats what i need the toe adjusted....morons at sears aligned my car after i told them not too(as you may notice im surrounded by morons in my town) and they f*ked up my alignment....i can clearly see that the passengers side front tire is out therefore, it pulls to that side:sigh:

does anyone know what the hell theyre doing in my town????

u sure that was one of the mechanics ..... not just one of the service advisors? ... if it was one of the mechanics then i would DEFINATELY stay away from there!

Matter of fact, it was the "head mechanic"....he then got really PO'd and told me not to come back:laugh:

ill just go to Auto Addictions since they are a reputable shop and hopefully my car will be ok....

also, now that i have my C5's on....instead of pulling to the right like it was with my stockers and yoko a550's, its pulling to the left with the pirelli p7000's.....
