So I've completed as much as I can without help (from my own giant list of reference data). Currently sitting at 2 different models, 10 different model years, 10 different domestic markets, over 50 different block stamps, over 100 different chassis codes, over 150 different transmissions, over 300 different trim levels, and over 700 lines long.

Thanks CTrees. Your pics threw a big monkey wrench into my chart. The numbering scheme for the H22A (5G) doesn't make a lot of sense.

Anyway, your transmission is from a 1995 Si VTEC, in case you wanted to know.

I'm doing another chart. For anyone who owns a non-USDM engine or transmission, please send me your block stamp and serial number OR transmission code and serial number.

Also, for anyone with a JDM engine, please include VC color, and year stamp.

For those of you who are unjustifiably paranoid, the information will not leave my mailbox.

Basically, you'd be able to get the two serial numbers and look it up in my chart to determine exactly where your swap came from. It will include all markets, all 4G and 5G Prelude models, several Accord models, etc.
Hey Kronn I just have done a JDM engine swap for my 94 Prelude. I abused the old eng, hope this new one will last. Anyway here's the stamp info. H22A serial# 1020341.

Thanks
Darrell

I came across the pictures of my motor before I bought it, it was mated to an M6HA tranny if that helps.

Hey Kronn, could you please look up the following in your database and tell me what car/trim this engine is coming from: H22A 1280438 - A-11/96 - 27 and it also says P13-HF4 on the right side of the block.
My data says 1996/7 Prelude SiR S-spec (red top).

ok newest addition to the garage is : t2w4-1000219....kronn lemme know what the year is if you dont mind.
Can't help ya. Got conflicting data on that transmission, but I wanna say 1998 AER.

98 SH Lude new to us

Just brought home our first 98 Prelude SH project to work on with /for son. Supposedly JDM motor with 70k on it. Block Stamped: H22A 1280404, Trans ID T2T4-2002518. Compression (dry & cold) on 1,2,3 is good @ 220-225, Cyl 4 only 60psi (checked valve clearances - OK) but leak down shows valve issue so gonna pull the head & lap in (4) new valves. Would like to buy parts ahead of time but unsure of specs (valve dia...) for replacement parts for this engine? Any info or recommendations would be appreciated - Thanks!
