As of late when I rev my car(in P or N), the rev meter goes up to about 5700 rpm or thereabout and just doesnt go any further. Is this normal? I also noticed my lude can hardly get past 110 mph within a short a distance.
Is there something I can check?

Haha. Reving like that in neutral makes me laugh when you have an auto considering its useless. And the car only has 200hp so you can't expect it to be faster then it is. 110mph is plenty fast enough.

revving an 'unloaded' engine to that high of a speed is a great way to float your valves :nono:

Again.....

I'll be all over this thread next week.

Your car's rev limiter is set much lower when the car is stationary. Call it somewhat 'idiot proof'.
