package deal for 1850.. good or bad?

second question.. these come in a 42mm offset.. and the guy who sells/installs them is a very reliable person who i trust. He told me it would fit fine on my 5th gen lude.. i have my doubts but i kno all of you are going to say it's going to rub, not sure what to do.

Sounds just about right to me. But what do I know?

I think it will work but it will be a tight squeeze. I personally have 17x7 with a +42mm offset and also a Pro-kit drop. I do not have problems with rubbing. On the other hand, we tried putting Racing Harts with the same exact specs as you listed, 18x7.5 +42mm, on my friends prelude with the same suspension. It rubbed the second we got it off the jacks! We couldn't even back out without rubbing the tire. I guess what all this means is that it'll work if you don't drop it too much. BTW that offset looks amazing and agressive on a 5th gen. Goodluck.

SORRY!
BTW The rims had 215/40/18 tires mounted so maybe 215/35/18 would alleve the rubbing problem. It would still be tight.

the thing is.. if i'm getting a 1800 wheels.. i want enough rubber to protect it from potholes.. 35 is a little thin..

The combo sounds high... by at LEAST $100.

Secondly, there's no way I'd buy a 7.5" +42 offset wheel... it's up to you though.
