Step one done. The head is off and looks good. (you know your wife loves you if you put a head in the kitchen sink and go after it with a toothbrush) I have a question about the Oil cooler mounted on the block just below the oil filter. There is a allen plug about an inch (2.5cm) in diameter, it is leaking oil. What is that for? I am going to pull it tomorrow and teflon tape it up.

Did the seals yesterday. 3 out of the 8 intake seals were bad. 6 out 8 exhaust. Unless you have a seal puller I do not know how you could do the job with the valves in the head and the head on the car. Doing the install today.
71dsp, when I got the parts they were an anneversay {sp} gift. So her flowers were on the table and my new head was next to it. Life is good.
