new h22 dyno
base dynos only, no tunage at all


H22 TRI-Y dynos
Now the good: The header is extremely well-made (minus the slip joints) and is crazy beautiful. Also, it performed as described so I'm pretty happy.

Car: Mine, duh
Mods: CAI, Custom 2.5" crush-bent exhaust, OBX 2.5" single in/3.0" dual out muffler
Temp: 66ºF
Hum: 6%

VERY IMPORTANT: This should have 2 more runs on it, however, the VAFC II sold to me by bb6_00 DOES NOT WORK! Therefore, I was unable to tune the car at all. I expect I'll gain at least another 5whp peak with a much curvier curve. Obviously, my 4k-5k area is hideous. But as you can see, 3rd gear shows a 7hp increase, and 4th gear shows an 11hp increase. Not bad for a knock-off.

Okie Dokie. Tuning occurred this afternoon. I'm a bit disappointed, but I would have to say that it was still a success. I didn't get near the numbers I was hoping for and the curves didn't even out.

Let's start with some variables.

Car: Still mine
Mods: Same + fixed exhaust leaks
Temp: 73ºF (previous dyno was 66ºF)
Hum: 11% (previous dyno was 6%)

How about some graphs?



Couldn't fix the plateau at 4k, but it did increase across nearly the entire spectrum. VTEC engagement is now ~4800.



Still looks like sound waves of noise but it did increase across the spectrum. The "tuner" thinks the 4k-5k debacle is mechanical, possibly something with the cams.

Heres a dyno graph from a customer

97 Honda Civic With:
STOCK 2001 Integra Type R
STOCK airbox
STOCK exhaust [JDM 4dr stock type r exhaust no cat]
STOCK Power steering & AC lines all functional

The clearance was great.
Only took about 20 mins to install !
Only had to trim a LITTLE part of the stock fan but otherwise
there was no issues with installation.

I tuned it fully stock with stock headers and then with the PRIVATE LABEL B-series headers. Below are pictures of the dyno graphs from both tunes.
The reason for the dips in the graph are due to the stock exhaust holding it back.

this is an awesome deal and def gonna be getting it soon...just need a little time.

One thing....any way to start up a gb for OEM lip kit :cool: that would rock!

if you didnt notice there is an idiot selling your headers for more then the group buy and hes stealing your pictures... just fyi.

I actually started the initial GB, acutally 2 on perludepower.com so Im not stealing anyones header or pics. Pics were open to me by the vendor on ebay. Host didnt take these pics either, he's just hosting the GB. I have permission from the Vendor to do so. Please get your facts straight before calling anyone names.
