my brake is noisy now wheni brake..
i went to dealer and they want 65 bucks just for checking so i told them forget it..how long does the brake pads usually last?
i dun brake very hard.....just normal hard..
and wut else could be causing the problem other than worn pads? my car is a 99' 5pseed

Brake pads does normally last many mo miles than that......problem likely not worn pads......problem is likley squeaky pads doo to age.....i dun brake hard either i normally break normal

No matter where you go you will need to pay someone to fix it unless you've done brakes before. Your pads/calipers are likely dirty, the pads should be removed and both cleaned. The pads will need to be re-installed with an anti-squeak compound that any brake shop and most auto stores carry.
