I am pleased with the numbers. They're right where I wanted to the car to be before forced induction.

Jesus christ 159.6! You guessed 160, didn't you?
Oh yeah, my friend got 233 hp in his '00 Mustang GT...I forget what the torque was.

That's pretty darned impressive for an essentially bone-stock 97 SH JMCN!

I plan on doing some baseline runs with my 2000 Base next week. I'm going to talk to the shop tomorrow to schedule... I'll post the plots when I get them...

Then I'll be installing all the uprgades that I've accumulated over this winter within the next month or so... Then more dyno runs to see what I've wasted all my money on!

What are the 00 GTs rated at from the factory?

They're 260hp supposedly at the flywheel. I think that's slightly underrated. Either that or he's got a better engine than most GTs.

The technician advised that 4th gear is too tall to pull with such a small engine. Malken also recommended it. That's what he did his pulls in.

Most people do it in a gearing as close to 1:1 as possible. You will show better results in 3rd over 4th, because it has a advantage do to gearing.
I made an appointment today. I'm doing baseline runs at ERT in Wilmington, DE next Tues at 9:00AM. I will do at least on run in 3rd AND at least one in 4th gear so we'll see what's doing... I'll post numbers and charts...
