Just picked up an F-max kit for my ride. Was wondering what is the max tire width that will fit on stock rims? I was considering buying nitto 555 drag radials, the only problem is that there are only 2 sizes that would fit on 16's (205/45/16 and 225/50/16). Out of these two options i'm considering picking up the 225/50/16. Just wanted to know what you guys think and if it would cause any rubbing?

It depends on how lowered you are. For drag racing, you shouldn't have a problem. Keep in mind, though, that your contact patch may be LESS with the 225s. I found recently autocrossing that the 225s on 7" wide rims handled SOOO much better than on 6.5" rims. You may want to stick with the 205s, they are made for the 6.5" rim width of our stock wheels. 225's may bow excessively and actually decrease the amount of rubber you put to the pavement.
