malken,

dang man, your ride is nice! your ride is not overly done, but still looks agressive. how much of a drop did you lower your prelude all around, front and rear? and what size rims/tires?

you have a nice setup, just got the windows tinted at 20% on my pearl white 2k prelude.
i'm currently waiting for my rims to come in and then i'll do some lowering. any suggestions? thanks.

Nope, they are just full of it.

Anyways, in my pics, I have a 3+ inch drop, just for show and stuff, it is raised up a bit higher now. What kind of suspension are you looking for? Ride comfort? Adjustability?

malken,

i'm more for ride comfort but with a lower stance. what size rims/tires are you using?

now the next questions will be: How much are you willing to spend?
imagepree,

the sales rep. at the local aftermarket shop suggested i go with skunk2 coilovers with tokico shocks. what do you suggest? i'm willing to a reasonable amount of money. thanks.

DREW, it depends what reasonable is for you. I suggest Ground Control coilovers and Koni struts, but the ride will be harsher, and the cost will be a little higher (about $900). If money is no object, go for TEIN HAs.

why do i keep hearing suggestions for the GC's??? ya know, you guys might actually sway me into getting them.. when i do finally do the suspension. who knows when that would be... lol

anyway, there are various combinations to pick from.
Koni is very much up there for shocks (struts, actually). i've heard some bad things about Tokico's.. i don't have personal experience, but i believe it. c'mon, $60/shock??? i dunno man, you get what you pay for. ya know?
as for springs, there's H&R and Eibach. or you can go with either Skunks or GC's.
Or if you have $$ to burn like these guys here, go with Teins or dare i say, MUGEN!! the Mugen Showa's aren't adjustable, but hey, it's MUGEN!!!

Drew, Tein Type HA are the way to go for your suspension. You will spend about $1000-$1200 for the complete setup.

My wheels are 18x7.5 w/Toyo FZ4 35mm
