Have you checked ebay? Junk yards? Or can take it to a really reputable shop to have it repaired/rebuilt.

I have been watching eBay. There are a few JDM importers that seem like they may be an option. Individual sellers are looking trying to sell used transmissions with 225k miles. No thanks. And locally I have called all over Iowa and found one place that is willing to look at it but has never done one before. Everyone pretty much hangs up on you when you tell them what you got. One Honda dealership told me they don’t know how to work on manual transmissions.

Ha, wow, very interesting. I think your best bet at this point is expanding your rebuild/repair shop location. There is a really good one in Dallas, but again, you would have to pay shipping/freight for it. It really depends how much you want to spend and how far you want to go.

Just had the motor rebuilt on the car my kid is rebuilding and now we are having issues with the transmission. At first the car seems to drive fine but then as the trans starts to warm up it starts to slip out of 4th and 5th gear. Shifting also seems to get hard shifting from 3rd to 4th and you need to almost let the clutch out to let the gear slip into place. Not sure about Hondas as I have never worked on one before. Definitly not a transmission repair guy at by any means.

Can anyone help locate a rebuilt transmission or have one for sale?
