Damn... where'd you get the ticket? That cop must've been out to get you... I got pulled over for it once in Palo Alto, but the cop got called away.

checkmate58 - Just dropped you an email about your new rims. What wheel/tire size did you get, and what offset? Also how much is your car lowered?

I recall poOp telling me that he had the LED bulbs for the rear turn signals, but he said they come out pink. Also, they're very washed out during the daytime.

I painted mine orange, and it comes out deep red at night. But you again have the problem of it being washed out in the day time.

I would just paint mine rather than drop $30 for some bulbs that might not even show up in the day time.

I use a amber Polarg signal bulb underneath a clear-ish silver housing I made myself. This way, my signals look completely clear but lights up amber. And yes, the amber light is visible during the day too.

I think someone from the UK posted something about this a few weeks ago. He dipped his stock bulb into some clear Amber Tamiya (model car) paint and then did a few LIGHT coats of Silver Tamiya Spray Paint and got a bulb that you can't see the amber at all in the light housing, but you see it JUST as well when flashing Amber.

i got my hands on some red led bulbs for my turn signals. i didn't like the way they looked, it was a pinkish red, didn't match the stock light color at all. they were only 5.99, but i decided to keep the amber bulbs
