I see you are concerned about rubbing with +42mm offset!

Well, I just fitted a set of 18 X 7.5J with 215/35/18 and I can tell you they are as good as gold with a Pro-kit drop on a 5th Gen!

But look's wise I would rather have waited for the +48mm offset if I had my time again!
They look very proud to the bodywork!
If you were to put a ruler across your wheel arch, the wheel would be up level with it, so you can see it doesn't add much room for the wheel to move up into the arch!

But mine haven't made a noise yet, 3 up and hard drving!

The pics are still up on the board at the moment so go take a look and see what you think!

If you have a Pro-kit drop and are not planning to go lower, I reckon you will be fine!

I was just thinking that....you haven't much room for a drop and keep it drivable.

You can do it, but it means rollin' the arches!
The wheels look mean though, like they are REALLY wide!
