Hi... I have two 12 JL subwoofers in my trunk, but because of things that I put in my trunk like bag packs, the woofers got some scratches and dirty. So I was wondering what will happen if I wax the woofers?? This seems like a little stupid question but has anyone done this kind of job? or anyone knows any method to clean the woofers?

I wouldn't wax them. I'm no sound system expert, but I'm pretty sure the speaker material needs to be flexible so it can produce sound. You should be able to clean them gently with a damp cloth, but make sure you let them dry out good. The best thing would be to get some speaker covers so they don't get scratched up.

Yeah, just clean them CAREFULLY with a damp cloth and dry.

Yea there aren't really a whole lot of options with that. A damp cloth and dry should do the fix. You could make a solution and keep the concentration REALLY low with something like Simple Green, then use a damp cloth with water after, and then dry. As long as you don't use too much cleaner, and too much liquid, you should be fine.
