That Tannabe Gold Medalion exhaust...is it really as loud as everyone says it is? I'm looking for a little more deep hum than loud. I like the stealthy type.
RSRs don't exist anymore cuz they were inferior in design...they basically weren't a straight through design like most cat backs today.
TGPM= Tanbe G-Power MEdallion. Its very quiet, it hums, totally. The loud one is the RM (Racing MEdallion) , not the TGPM. The G-power is great!! It hums, i totally love it. For what your lookin for id go with either the G-Power or the EVO. But GP gets my vote for sure!!
How much is the G-Power? What are the dimensions? piping and tip
i know RS*R/INVIDIA exhaust is really nice, its basically an N1 style exhaust. I saw pics of it on an Si and they compared it to an A'PEXi N1 exhaust and it killed the A'PEXi in quality. and the guy said it had basically the same performance, but it looked a lot nicer and the quality was like twice as good.

i've seen the invidia too, but only the muffler....it looks great imo
The G-Power is in the $550 range. It has a 5" tip, which IS big, but i love it. Many compliments on it. I think it is 2.5" Diameter all teh way through, may be wrong.

i think the oval shape helps it out....a 5" circle would look ugly
Thats true. Its not a 5" circle, its like an oval. Thanks for pointing that out man!!!

I think they still have them in Japan. I wonder if you can still get someone to import them :/

Inferior in design? Not straight through? Would this mean that any exhaust but the race medallion, fireball, and N1 are inferior?

??????????? They lost their US distrubutor....that's why they're not readily available today. Also......I could be wrong here but when some company claims that they have a "straight through" design I think they're ONLY talking about the muffler......all B pipes look almost exactly the same except for piping diameter.

To get an RSR you need to find someone who can import one for you. I think Auto Freak can do it. When I was at the one by me they had some RSR springs brand new in the boxes behind the sounter. I talked with the guy about RSR stuff and he said that he can get SOME stuff not everything. You might want to go ask around and see if anyone near you can get an exhaust system imported for you. keep in mind that they might only be exporting suspension products now and not exhausts. I'm not sure though. Good luck.
