The recharger kit helps alot. the cleaner does a wonderful job of cleaning the dirt off, and washing the old oil off the filter. And the Oil that you put back on is a MUST!
Don't clean your filter too often though. like it says in the instructions, the dirt that gets trapped on the filter element actually helps to trap smaller dirt particles. I've washed mine once, @ 25,000 miles, and won't wash it again till I hit about 50k.
At least the filter is easy to get to with the hot-air intakes...mine can be a real PITA!
