it's hard to get a good launch in a SS, I did 6 runs about a month ago, and the best i can come across is
rt:.973
60':2.513
1/4:[email protected]
mods are intake/exhaust

I was really disappointed, but I'm sure there are lots of SS ludes running a better time than I did, so I need some inputs on launching too. What I did was to start power braking on the second light and floor it on the light before green.

hey do i know you? its Guy (matt's friend)
Using the stock sunroof might be dangerous unless you have received special training, am aftermarket removable targa top (see: Del Sol; NSX) might be easier to fit through.

Make sure to bring a pillowcase to use for a 'chute. A full size parachute might be a little too big for the relatively small height you would be propelled (unless you have fitted a V-tech spec-RT seat; read: exception 1), and not might fully deploy, leaving you on the ground in pain. Major fractures have been known to occur in these situations.

exception 1: if the V-tech spec-RT carbon-kevlar seat w/ iridium lined jets has been fitted for extreme launching situations, a larger 'chute will be necessary. A thin polyurethane lined nylon picnic table cover may be used.

Extra precautions must be taken when using the jet propelled spec-RT seat. Make sure to let other drivers and pedestrians know BEFORE you launch. A megaphone can be used as a warning device, but you may want a custom fiberglass enclosure holding 3 15" subs and front and rear seat "bass shakers" to give your message that extra kick. You can then use a standard Shure SM-48 compressor microphone from inside your car. If you have aftermarket accessory pullies, you might want to be careful, in some cases, launchers have experienced as many of 6 of their 10 fog lights dimming when using the 3 15" speaker setup.

This just in!!!

Now you can ride in style! Let everyone know what a hardcore launcher you are by getting these new stickers! With this package, you get:

- Front 24" Black sunstrip, with yellow indiglo lettering. Reads: "V-TECH SPEC-RT"

- Rear 32" Yellow sunstrip, with red reverse indiglo lettering. Reads: "V-TECH SPEC-RT"

- Complete rear left and right quarter window coverings. Black with neon green lettering. Reads: "Powered by V-TECH-RT"

- Full side window 0% tint

Get yours now!! If you get 25+ buyers, it's only $999!

If you lend me your lude for a couple hours I'll figure out how to launch it. I've never driven an SS, but how different is it from a regular automatic? Just slam the brake to the floor, then slam the gas to the floor, then pop and brake and you're off. Let the slush box do the rest
