I bought a prelude. And I locked my keys in my car on accident my brother used his prelude key to open my door and it work. How can I fix this? I possible
Ok Sure lol so like am I done for can I fix it or not. If I can't I was thinking just get another prelude key hole handle and put it on so at least no one can get in it
Any good locksmith (especially ones specializing in cars) can rekey just the door locks. Also, the lock cyliners are available from Honda suppliers (dealers and third party). You could keep the ignition key as-is.
Isn't it easier to change the keyhole? Now you can easily use the auto vin check from Vininspect. This is how you can find the part you need. Moreover, this spare part is not so expensive, so it is better to replace it with a new one.
