I was going to go to kooltint to do my mirrors...i haven't called yet, but sam (atxlchink) mentioned they can do it i think. Not sure...i have too much crap to take care of today and tomorrow, so i'll figure it out later....

ok well just to let u know, i really want to do the tint over this weekend too. so maybe we can arrange it somehow where i can drop off my car hop into yours with my mirrors with me and we can go together? kinda depends wheres this kooltint place. well anyways, let me know when things cool off for ya

oh by the way ODL, do u think u can install a complete alarm system? im thinking of getting an alarm prior to going back to summer school at great ol Mt. SAC. and i dont want my car to get screwed up since im pretty modded now.

i was thinking of the aladdin 2000 too. have u even installed car alarms before? if so im willing to pay u and we can work on it some time in the summer or somthing. mac car quoted me $500 for the alarm and install. i dunno how much they r selling the alarm but if its around $250 (group buycenter) then its $250 almost for install!

Well...hmm...is it doable? I believe so. But i seriously think it should be installed professionally tho. And btw...i don't count MacCar as professional. Hell, i can do a better job than those slackers. I'm sure you've heard this before, but seriously, any alarm is only as good as the install. I would really look for a better place to install it than MacCar.

And yah, i've looked at that whole aladdin discussion before. It looks pretty decent...a litttle gimmicky, but if it all works, then i have no complaints. Heck, i wanted one for myself too!

But yah...if you can get it for $250 groupbuy, then pick itt up and then look for a GOOD local installer. If you REALLY REALLy want to do it urself, i guess i can give a hand and help. But i really really think it should be done by pros. I think buckwild knows of a good place to get alarms done....lemme know and i'll ask him...or maybe he'll see this thread and post

cool, ya i think ill have someone professionally install it. as for now i have no money and i think i will need to convince my parents to see that i need one over the summer. then perhaps they will pay for the aladdin alarm for me

. but as of now, the alarm idea is waay too early. i guess ill let u know when i decide to actually get it.

... so how bout the whole light bulb and tint issue?

hehe, cool, thanks again man. im working on an essay right now... i dont think ill be going to bed for at least another hour... thats 2 nights striaght where ive slept at around 5 am.
