I have brand new spark plugs, Optima yellow top battery. 800 watts amp. I have dash lights and underdash neons.

My car takes 3 or 4 cranks sometimes before actually cranking up, What could be causing this? Still a major load to the battery somewhere?

If anyone doesnt understand what I mean, I mean when you turn the key and hold, it takes about 3 or 4 turns..? on the engine before the car starts up.

Any ideas?

When you are low on gas this is even worse. The reason is that it takes your fuel pump a second or two to pressurize the system. Turn the key to the "on" position and wait a second or two before you crank the engine. It should fire right up then.
