Hello fellow Prelude fans. A little back story. I have been the owner of a G-3 1991 Prelude Si (5 speed)for several years. I bought the car to have something retro & cool to cruise around in on the weekends'n' such. Also my better 1l2 have very fond nostalgic memories of a G-1 we owned when we were younger. The car was in decent shape body wise and ran okay. Only a little issue the the cooling fan running at random times even when cold this killing the battery and a weak slave cylinder which I replaced. The day (& I mean literally the day) I got the car registered & insured the fuel pump went out! I replaced the fuel filter and pump and the new pump quickly failed... So from that point the car has sat for a few years and been quickly deteriorating. I reluctantly almost sold the car to a kid who said he wanted it just in the hopes someone would be using it. However the kid backed out of the deal and I saw that as a sign. So now I am committed to getting the car back to better than in running condition. I am open to mods as restoration to original factory condition is not a must. Like I mentioned earlier just something retro cool to cruise around in. I have been clearing a space in my home shop to attack the task at hand! Even knowing I have much more work to do than even when I 1st bought the car, but so be it. I have a new fuel pump and will be dropping the gas tank for a thorough deep clean. after that I will more than likely have a million questions. I hope to make many friends and acquaintances here.
Thanks in advance

Thank you! Yes am really glad I didn't let it go! I see fewer and fewer of the G-3's or any other ludes on the road for that matter. My biggest concern is the B21A1 engine and the FRM cylinder sleeves. My engine has 160,000(+)miles and has been sitting for a long time. The FRM sleeves have a bad rap chewing through rings. There was no smoke or excessive oil consumption when she was running so I may not need to do a complete rebuild in the immediate future. 1st chore engine wise will be a new timing belt and then go from there...
