ive run one with the Bi-pipes intercooler, dowpipe ect ect, and i beat it, very beautiful cars, gorgeous interiors, but nothing that impresses me power-wise, it SHOULD perform better than i think it does, id take an M3 over the S4 anyday..peace

i agree with specialique, they dont impress me at all, ive raced two diff ones both at the track...one was silver one was blue, both people live in my area..they have Bi pipe upgrade, chip, IC piping downpipe, exhaust/intake..ect, and i crushed them both...i mean for all the mods, and th 50k price tag id certainly expect alot more, in fact one guy at the track in a red one was talking smakc to this guy , the kid with the red one was like 19 or so, mommy and daddy bought him one for his graduation, anyways he was talking smack to this guy in a silver 02 M3, they bet 30 bucks on the run, and the m3 beat him so bad it wasnt even funny..they raced again cuz the kid said he missed a gear, not that it actually mattered since he got beat by like 3 busses...this time the bmw didnt even launch until the S4 chirped secod, and by the 1/8th had caught him, and put 3 or so cars on him at the 1/4...very funny..:D

my mods are... 97 up AEM cai, Greddy SS header, ApexiN1 exhaust, Vafc( its set basically at zero, -1% on the high cam only thats it) skunk2 CamGears, and a p28 with a GSR chip....i have a CF hood and ES motor mounts, also have a B&M FPR but its set at stock pressure..everything else is in the car..94 up interior with the vtec options streeing wheel ect also has the pass airbag even though its a 93 ..looks better than the hole that used to be in my dash..and i ran 14.0 for a long time, then put on my old beat up radials, and i didnt spin into second which i think helped me get my 13s..but with better street tires i think 13 are possible...i just kept adding stuff, and trying different things to get where i am now..i dont consider myself a great driver, but the people ni this area do, they ask me to run thier cars for them,, becuase no one has been able to match my times with my set-up..btw when i first got my swap my best times wer 14.7 @ 95 with short ram intake/DC header/ and apexi n1..i still think the S4s are overated, sorry ive driven a modded one, and a stock one, dont feel as powerful as i expected, still very nice cars though

the easiest way to look at your cars power isnt your 1/4 mile times...look at your trap speeds, they indicate your cars power, good times come from traction.....to be honest your exhaust is kinda restrictive, if your looking for NA power, and id also replace that DC header...you can get a 4th gen greddy SS header, and have a small test pipe made and it will open up your exhaust flow, although i still think you need a much more free flowing exhaust if your trying to maximize top end power, look at the N1, or something similar, and a better header, vafc can also be a useful tool, maybe you should look inot geting a hondata setup, and obd2 workaround..let me know if you have any other questions..peace

if your going to mess with cams, you need to decide what u want, if your trying to make NA power youll NEED a better exhaust...it may be slightly louder, but, freeing up a bunch of air is pointless if your going to clog it up , know what i mean?
