just curious if anyone has done this to make your stock rims shine...i can't afford a set of aftermarket rims, so i was thinking about doing this instead...

how much do you think it'd cost me?

any pics?

TIA

i don't think it's an h-a dude, but there is a guy in my neighborhood who has his stock (base) rims polished... looks... ghetto. IMHO.

The receipt says $125 each plus freight to fully refinish my rims. The shop is called Hubcap Heaven and is in Maryland. They strip and repaint, then clearcoat. There are several other less costly ways to do it-if the scratches are only in the clear. The shop here has a way to buff (A&M WHEELS). Mine came back looking like new. In fact, I'm sending the other pair to them. This is a price that I find fair as Wheel Exchange in Raleigh, NC quoted me $600 plus shipping for an outright buy for 4 from Ebay.
