gude said for 1350dollars i will be in the low 14s-high13s. i don't really want to mess with the bottom end and just run on pump gas. i like things to be simple.

To make power, you need bottom end work. The faster you want to go, the more it's going to cost you.

I don't think head work alone will get you into the 13s.

There's much more to do in order to get into 13's than just a GUDE package!!!!!!!!

U got ignition, fuel, ECU and a whole slew of other things to tune other than just the GUDE cams and stuff. SPEED COSTS ALOT OF $$

BTW- what Gen Lude do u have?

i have a 4g. the package comes with p+p head
reground camshafts, reprogrammed ecu, 11.0:1 cr, bored tb, ported intake manifold, and something else done to the valves. they say it's real reliable. i'm not too sure, i think it sounds too good, that's why i need some feed back from someone that already has it. if not 13s, than how much with boltons+package?
I have done the head package install and am pleased. Watch out for Gude, his business pratices suck!!! Do not go for a core charge. Send your stuf in and be prepared for a wait.

Dyno is on web pg #2 (slow loader).

Good Luck,

Tom

Armadillo: What redline are you running... I noticed your dyno only goes to 6600 rpm?
That is where I decided to stop at. That is all. I try not to over rev the engine. The head says it is built to 8500 rpm, But Gude did not change springs or valves. (or valve seals)

thanx for the info, did it do all they said it would? is it a good deal? what are you running in the 1/4 now? your engine looks great! i'm planning to do it to my h22a1. i agree with you that his business sucks..
Honestly I feel (just my opinion) that it has done really good. Most of the VTEC with intakes and headers in the area haven't touched me. Haven't 1/4 mile yet. 1/8 track in area only and just haven't done it. Look at DPR and if you have a good speed machine shop in the area try them. You can get cams some places. The T/B is bored as thin as a beer can. I had the head shaved .009 cause he hand lapped the head and I did not like it. There seemed to be low spots on the areas between the cylinder caps (can't think of what those are called). Any way are there many people out there that do vtec cams?

i'm not too far from you, nc. i just want something simple and complete. there are no one good here anyways. i think i will do it because the price isn't that bad. what mods do you have on the car?
Just intake, header and cam gears. Of course the head package. Just put some Dunlop SP5000 asymetricals on, much better traction.

Just don't say I did not warn you about Gude.

I will be running up 95 sunday for va on sunday are you close?
