Hey guys, just wanted to vent, but I got pulled over yet again for my exhaust, and now this time for my clear turn signals in the rear. He actually pulled out the measuring tape to check to see if my car was regulation height but luckily no ticket for that. I can't deal with this kind of harrassment anymore from my exhaust...its getting too expensive for me to deal with so I think i'm going to have to sell my tanabe racing medallion. I can't believe I got pulled over again...this was only after a month that I had gotten the ticket for the same damn thing!!! California vehicle code sucks...not to mention certain police departments <san marino (ahem) arcadia (ahem)>

damn that sucks..i feel you man. I got pulled over for BS reasons many of times. And i just got another speeding ticket last night going home...but i'm guilty of that. grrrr...i'm pissed!!

Did you get a fix-it ticket or a violation fine? fine is 175 for exhaust? 75 for clear turns?

How come I NEVER get pulled over for my exhaust or my altezza's? I am in Irvine and Anaheim area all da time, and cops just look at me, that's it. Maybe they know it's an SS, and they know it's slow....

man if only that were true. i got pulled over almost exactly like poor jiggly... he spotted me when i drove by with the exhaust, and i had clear signals at the time, which i used to get over to the side of the road. damn me and my good driving habits.

time to get rid of the noise maker...

i've been puleld over once for my racing medalion....and the guy let me off....it was just one of those late night, look there's a hooked up import, let's pull him over to see if one, he's drunk, two, any comes up when we scan his license.....it was dumb

im in so cal and NEVER got a SINGLE ticket for ANYTHING yet. i switch from using my silencer and not quite frequently. maybe its my smooth controlled driving

it's cuz you live in california, do you think texas people have to deal with that kinda ****?? hell no, depending on which county you're in you don't even have to do an emissions check. like myself. only a visual inspection. damn i love denton county.

Arcadia/San Marino...that says it all.

That's an uppity upper class neighborhood, esp San Marino where there's a big group of Asian Americans living..thus you'll see a lot of fixed up imports and the older residents of the hood and the cops don't like to see loud cars driving around in their hood. Just like in beverly hills and places like that, the cops either have to worry about big robberies and traffic violations and not much in between so you will get plenty of attention driving in those hoods. I used to have a friend in San Marino and I used to drive my car extra slow at the time to avoid attention/ticket.

Why is the Tanabe RM loud? Did you get a noise violation or a emmisions violation? Either way, I would take it to ticket busters. Those firms are everywhere in miami that promise to make most traffic violations disappear for $75 usually. If they lose the case, they will pay for your ticket. Then again, they're lawyers, they can find their way around anything!
