I just got my eibach prokit and konis installed, also a rs racing kit and everywhere I go I scrape now!!! It gets so annoying to all of a sudden slow on bumps and holes in the ground. Today I went 30 mph over a speed bump and CRACK!!! luckily I checked the front and nothing happened! wierd...anyway, anyone have tips on driving with lowered car?

Yes, dont go over speedbumps at 30mph!
Go over them at about 5mph and hit them at an angle...slowly

Are they Koni Yellows? What ride height are they set to? Mine are set to the middle and on VERY steep driveways I'll scrape if I don't take them at an angle. I had it lower for a bit, and it was ridiculous. As you can see in my sig, I don't have an aggressive kit, just OEM front lip.

Holy sh*t! I just reread your post. You're taking speed bumps at 30!!!!!!!! Are you insane? Of course you slammed something.
With stiff suspension, that's also very bad on your chassis. Which eventually results in annoying interior rattles. Be careful, dude.

you could go over bumps and dips in the road at an angle really really slowly. sometimes ppl go sideways

i dropped my car 1"25 (30mm) with the OEM kit.. the kit hangs so low to the ground. man, I am so afraid to drive on those bad roads!!
yeh what perch do you have those things set on
WIngsWest RS KIT..i wonder if it would be bad for my ride...1.5 all around...i would probably scrape like a fool huh? thinking about OEM kit again..damn...can't decide.

just slow down and get to know the area you drive around the most. I remember where all the bumps and hills are in the areas i most drive around. you should be ok then..hehe

That's the funniest thing I ever read!

Erm, if you drive constantly on the rev limiter does your engine blow up?

If you drive over lots of like nails and stuff do you find you keep getting punctures?

And if you drive over stop lights do you seem to find people smash into the car?

Bugger ain't it?

OF COURSE YOUR CAR CRUNCHES IF YOU DRIVE AT 30 MPH OVER SPEED BUMPS! LMAO!!!!

You know the cure then!

Yeah - Check which perch settings you have the springs on. If they're set to the lowest it looks awsome, but you'll scrape everywhere. Bump it up a little if they are.
ahahhaha...I unfortunately didnt see the speed bump cus it was at night. Well I guess I just gotta slow down and learn my area better. thanks for repliez tho...=)
I got an WW RS kit and I am pretty low too and I never scrape. I use common sense and drive my car diagonally over bumps or driveways. I usually avoid speedbumps altogether by going a different way through parking lots.

If a road in my area is getting reworked then I will often go a totally different way. There are usually more than a few ways to get to point "B" you just have to figure that out before you leave your house.

If you bottom out your sideskirts (if you have the Wings West sideskirts) you will make them weak and bendable. The weathering will cause them to on the bottoms of them and if you look under your car you can see them sagging a bit. I have bottomed out one of my sideskirts and it isn't pretty. You can only notice it though when you get down on the ground and look. You learn the hard way unfortunately.

i am lowered like 1.5 inches on H&R's with a WW RS front and OEM sides and rear. i have about 6 inches ground clearance and i don't scrape very often. with most speed bumps, i could just go strait over them without having to angle, but driveways are a different story.
Sadwap-
sorry, but Preludes don't have 6 inches of ground clearance stock, with no ground effects. Try 5.7" minus your 1.5" drop then minus whatever your kit takes away and you are nowhere near 6 inches.
