My bag equipment is back home, but I want something for in the apartment. Freestanding bags look like a good idea for an apartment I will be moving out of within a year or so.

Does anyone have experience with any? I was looking at the Century wavemaster, it is about 250lbs when filled with water/sand. I will be using it for cardio exercise along with practicing JKD.

I picked one up today at Academy. Works great, but... It shakes the whole damn apartment, plus the people below me will be pissed.

Worked great, but I drained and returned it. :(

its gonna be like that for all types of heavy bags: ceiling hung, water filled base. It creates a lot of vibration when used. Yea an apt is a real bad place to do a bag routine :(
