i have a 1992 prelude s. yes it is old...but it's my first car...and i got it for 3000 bucks =). i got an ultra flo exhaust system that was once on a 1992 vtec lude. everything is perfect (hanging positions, length and bends).....except ONE thing. the part that goes into the catalytic converter (the three bolts). the exhaust holes are slightly offset from the original bolts coming from the catback. i mean, if the holes were to be shaved a few MM it would fit. But i'm not sure what to have the auto shop do. Do i need a new Cat? Or is shaving holes ok? How much would everything cost? Please help someone!!!

All you have to do is drill the hole and make it line up with the cat I had to do the same thing with my exhaust. Works perfectly. So just drilling out some of the metal will allow it to match up.
